Pinanood ni Andiswa ang mga batang lalaking naglalaro ng soccer. Gustong-gusto niyang sumali sa praktis kanila. Nagpaalam siya sa coach.
Andiswa watched the boys play soccer. She wished that she could join them. She asked the coach if she can practise with them.

The coach put his hands on his hips. “At this school, only boys are allowed to play soccer,” he said.

Kinantiyawan si Andiswa ng mga batang lalaki at sinabing mas bagay siya sa netball na pambabaeng laro. Nainis si Andiswa.
The boys told her to go play netball. They said that netball is for girls and soccer is for boys. Andiswa was upset.
Los chicos le dijeron que fuera a jugar nétbol. Le dijeron que el nétbol es para chicas y el fútbol para chicos. Andiswa se enojó.
Sa sumunod na araw, may malaking laban sa iskul. Nag-alala ang coach kasi maysakit ang pinakamagaling niyang manlalaro.
The next day, the school had a big soccer match. The coach was worried because his best player was sick and could not play.

Nagmakaawa si Andiswa sa coach na payagan siyang maglaro. Hindi alam ng coach kung ano ang gagawin. Pero pumayag na rin siya sa huli.
Andiswa ran to the coach and begged him to let her to play. The coach was not sure what to do. Then he decided that Andiswa could join the team.
Andiswa corrió hacia el entrenador y le suplicó que la dejara jugar. El entrenador no estaba seguro de qué hacer. Pero decidió que Andiswa se uniera al equipo.
Magaling ang kalaban. Half time na pero wala pang nakaka-iskor.
The game was tough. Nobody had scored a goal by half time.

Sa second half, pinasa ng isang bata ang bola kay Andiswa. Mabilis siyang tumakbo palapit sa goal. Sinipa niya ang bola. Pasok sa goal!
During the second half of the match one of the boys passed the ball to Andiswa. She moved very fast towards the goal post. She kicked the ball hard and scored a goal.
Durante la segunda mitad del partido, uno de los chicos le dio un pase a Andiswa. Ella corrió rápidamente hacia la portería contraria. Pateó el balón con fuerza y anotó un gol.

The crowd went wild with joy. Since that day, girls were also allowed to play soccer at the school.
