شَاهَدَتْ أَنْدِيسُوا الصِّبْيَةَ يَلْعَبُونَ كُرَةَ اَلقَدَمِ. كَانَتْ تَتَمَنَّى لَوْ أَنَّهَا تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تَنْضَمَّ إِلَيْهِمْ. فَسَأَلَتْ اَلمُدَرِّبَ إنْ كَانَتْ تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تتَدَرَّبَ مَعَهُمْ.

Andiswa ti pe get bann garson zwe foutborl. Li ti pe swete kapav zwenn zot. Li’nn demande si li kapav pratike avek zot.

Andiswa regardait les garçons jouer au football. Elle souhaitait pouvoir se joindre à eux. Elle demanda si elle pouvait pratiquer avec eux.

Andiswa watched the boys play soccer. She wished that she could join them. She asked the coach if she can practise with them.


أَجَابَهَا المُدَرِّبُ: “في هَذِهِ اَلمَدْرَسَةِ لَا يُسْمَحُ إِلَّا لِلْصِّبْيَةِ أَنْ يَلْعَبُوا كُرَةَ اَلقَدَمِ”.

Antrener-la inn met so lame lor so lerin. « Dan sa lekol-la, zis bann garson ki gagn drwa zwe foutborl, » li’nn dir.

L’entraîneur mit ses mains sur ses hanches. « À cette école, seulement les garçons ont le droit de jouer au football, » lui dit-il.

The coach put his hands on his hips. “At this school, only boys are allowed to play soccer,” he said.


قَالَ اَلصِّبْيَةُ لَهَا: “اِلْعَبِي كُرَةَ الشَّبَكَةِ. كُرَةُ الشَّبَكَةِ لِلْبَنَاتِ، وكُرَةُ اَلقَدَمِ لِلْصِّبْيَانِ”.

Bann garson finn dir li al zwe netborl. Zot finn dir ki netborl ti pou bann tifi ek ki foutborl ti pou bann garson. Andiswa ti’nn ankoler.

Les garçons aussi lui ont dit d’aller jouer au netball. Ils ont dit que le netball est pour les filles et que le football est pour les garçons. Andiswa était fâchée.

The boys told her to go play netball. They said that netball is for girls and soccer is for boys. Andiswa was upset.


فِي اليَوْم اَلتَّالي أُقِيمَتْ فِي اَلْمَدْرَسَةِ مُبَارَاةٌ كَبيرةٌ لِكُرَةِ اَلْقَدَمِ. كَانَ اَلْمُدَرِّبُ قَلِقاً، لِأَنَّ أَفْضَلَ لَاعِبٍ عِنْدَهُ كَانَ مَريضاً، وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ اَللَّعِبَ.

Landime, ti ena enn gran match foutborl dan lekol. Antrener-la ti pe gagn traka parski so meyer zwer ti malad ek pa ti kapav zwe.

Le lendemain, l’école avait un grand match de football. L’entraîneur était inquiet parce que son meilleur joueur était malade et ne pouvait pas jouer.

The next day, the school had a big soccer match. The coach was worried because his best player was sick and could not play.


رَكَضَت أَنْدِيسُوا وَتَرَجَّتْهُ أَنْ يَدَعَهَا تَلْعَبُ. لَمْ يَكُنِ اَلْمُدَرِّبُ وَاثِقاً مِمَّا عَلَيْهِ فِعْلَهُ. بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قَرَّرَ أَنْ يَسْمَحَ لَهَا بِاَلاِنْضِمَامِ إِلَى اَلْفَريقِ.

Andiswa finn galoup ver antrener-la ek li’nn sipliy li les li zwe. Antrener-la pa ti kone ki pou fer. Finalman, li’nn desid pou les Andiswa zwenn lekip.

Andiswa courut vers l’entraîneur et le supplia de la laisser jouer. L’entraîneur ne savait pas quoi faire. Finalement, il décida de laisser Andiswa se joindre à l’équipe.

Andiswa ran to the coach and begged him to let her to play. The coach was not sure what to do. Then he decided that Andiswa could join the team.


كَانَتْ المُبَارَاةُ صَعْبَةً جِدًّا. أَصْبَحَتْ فِي مُنْتَصَفِهَا، وَلَمْ يُسَجَّلْ أَيُّ هَدَفٍ.

Match-la ti difisil. Ler mi-tan, pa ti ena enn sel dimounn ki ti’nn resi met enn gorl.

Le match fut difficile. À la mi-temps, personne n’avait encore compté de but.

The game was tough. Nobody had scored a goal by half time.


فِي اَلْنِّصْفِ الثَّانِي مِنَ المُبَارَاةِ، مَرَّرَ أَحَدُ اَلْصِّبْيَةِ اَلْكُرَةَ إِلَى أَنْدِيسُوا. تَحَرَّكَتْ بِسُرْعَةٍ كَبِيرَةٍ بِاتِّجَاهِ اَلْمَرمَى. ثُمَّ رَكَلَتْ اَلْكُرَةَ بِقُوَّةٍ وسَجَّلَتْ هَدَفاً.

Pandan deziem peryod match-la, enn parmi bann garson-la finn pass Andiswa boul-la. Li’nn deplas li bien vit ver poto. Li’nn donn enn gro koutpie dan boul-la ek li’nn met enn gorl.

Pendant la deuxième période du match, un des garçons passa le ballon à Andiswa. Elle se déplaça très rapidement vers le poteau du but. Elle shoota dans le ballon fort et compta un but.

During the second half of the match one of the boys passed the ball to Andiswa. She moved very fast towards the goal post. She kicked the ball hard and scored a goal.


وَمُنْذُ ذَلِكَ اَلْيَوْمِ سَمَحَتْ اَلْجَمَاهِيرُ لِلفَتَيَاتِ بِلَعِبِ كُرَةِ القَدَمِ فِي اَلْمَدْرَسَةِ.

Lafoul ti’nn vinn fou avek lazwa. Depi sa zour-la, bann tifi gagn drwa zwe foutborl dan lekol.

La foule devint folle de joie. Depuis ce jour, les filles ont le droit de jouer au football à l’école.

The crowd went wild with joy. Since that day, girls were also allowed to play soccer at the school.
