I wake up and make fire.

Ninaamka na kuwasha moto.

Nteka /nshyushya amazi.

I boil some water.

Ninachemsha maji.

Nasa /ntema inkwi z’umuriro.

I chop the firewood.

Ninakata kuni.

Nvanga mu inkono.

I stir the pot.

Ninakoroga uji kwenye chungu.

Nkubura hasi.

I sweep the floor.

Ninafagia sakafu.

Noza ibyombo.

I wash the dishes.

Ninaosha vyombo.

Kubera iki nkora cyane… …murumuna wange ahuze ari gukina?

Why do I work so hard… … when my brother is busy playing?
