Umutima wange wiyunvira ibintu byinshi.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

Nunva nishimye iyo nyogokuru atubwiye inkuru nimugoroba.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

Nunva ntuje iyo nkina n’inshuti yange.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

Nunva ntishimye iyo dada abwiyo ko adafite amafara.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

Nueva nkunzwe iyo mama ampobeye.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.
