فِي يَوْمٍ مِنَ الأَيَّامِ، كَانَ هُنَالِكَ تِمْسَاحٌ جَائِعٌ.

Hapo zamani, palikuwa na mamba mwenye njaa.

Once there was a very hungry crocodile.


كَانَ يَبْحَثُ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ بِبُطْءٍ وَهُدُوءٍ. وَفَجْأَةً…

Alitafuta chakula taratibu na kwa ukimya. Halafu…

He searched for food slowly and quietly. And then…


طجججج!!! قَفَزَ التِّمْسَاحُ!

POO!!! Mamba anashambulia!

POW!!! The crocodile strikes!


لَمْ يَعُدْ التِّمْسَاحُ جَائِعاً بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، بَلْ أَصْبَحَ سَعِيدًا.

Baada ya hapo hana njaa tena, na anafurahi.

After that he is no longer hungry, and he is happy.


إِلَى أَنْ يَجُوعَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى.

Hadi atakapopatwa na njaa tena.

Until he gets hungry again.
