ਬੱਕਰੀ, ਕੁੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਨ। ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਟੈਕਸੀ ਵਿਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਤੇ ਗਏ।
Goat, Dog, and Cow
were great friends. One
day they went on a
journey in a taxi.
ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ। ਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
When they reached the
end of their journey, the
driver asked them to
pay their fares. Cow
paid her fare.
ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੇ ਥੋੜਾ ਵਾਧੂ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸਹੀ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।
Dog paid a bit extra,
because he did not
have the correct money.
ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਨ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਦ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਭੱਜ ਗਈ।
The driver was about to
give Dog his change
when Goat ran away
without paying
anything.
ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖਿਝ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਭਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
The driver was very
annoyed. He drove
away without giving
Dog his change.
ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ, ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਕਾਰ ਵਲ ਭੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਭਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
That is why, even
today, Dog runs
towards a car to peep
inside and find the
driver who owes him his
change.
ਬੱਕਰੀ ਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਡਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Goat runs away from
the sound of a car. She
is afraid she will be
arrested for not paying
her fare.
ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਦ ਕਾਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੜਕ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
And Cow is not
bothered when a car is
coming. Cow takes her
time crossing the road
because she knows she
paid her fare in full.
