My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

Pulira esangaalo, nguhwa yange n’atuganira obugano egulo.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

Mula pulira ti kola hya busiru ohugudula n’abameeri bange.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

Pulira bubi bbaabba n’aloma ati aŋuma piiya.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

Pulira bulaŋi maama ni gangwaho mu hifuba.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.
