હું બટાટા ના છાલ કાઢું.

Ninamenya viazi.

I peel the potatoes.


હું કોબી કાપું.

Ninakatakata kabichi.

I chop a cabbage.


હું ગાજર કાપું.

Ninasaga karoti.

I grate the carrots.


હું બિંસ ધોઉં.

Ninaosha maharagwe.

I wash the beans.


હું બટરનટ ને કાપું.

Ninakata maboga.

I cut the butternut.


હું પાલક કાપું.

Ninakatakata sukuma-wiki.

I chop the spinach.


મારા માતાજી ડુંગળી કાપે.

Mama yangu anakatakata vitunguu.

My mom chops the onions.


હું ડુંગળી કાપુ તો મને આસુ આવે.

Vitunguu hunifanya nilie vikiwa vinakatwakatwa.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
