Nnake yo mmotlana o robala thari.Ke tsoga go sa le gale, ka ntlha ya gonne ke godile!

My little brother sleeps very late. I wake early, because I am great!


Ke nna ke bulelang letsatsi go tsena.

I am the one who lets in the sun.


“O naledi yame ya moso ,”go bua Mme.

“You’re my morning star,” says Ma.


Ke a itlhapisa, ga ke tlhoke thuso epe.

I wash myself, I don’t need any help.


Ke kgona go tlhapa ka metsi a a tsididi ka molora o o nkgang o o botala jwa loapi.

I can cope with cold water and blue smelly soap.


Mme o a nkgakolola,”O seka wa lebala meno.”Ka araba,”Ga nkake, e seng nna!”

Ma reminds, “Don’t forget teeth.” I reply, “Never, not me!”


Morago ga go tlhapa, ka dumedisa Rremogolo le Rakgadi, mme ke ba eleletsa letsatsi le le ntle.

After washing, I greet Grandpa and Auntie, and wish them a good day.


Mme morago ka simolola go itswesa,”Ke godile jaanong Mme,”go bua nna.

Then I dress myself, “I’m big now Ma,” I say.


Ke kgona go kopela ditalama le go hunela ditlhako tsame.

I can close my buttons and buckle my shoes.


Ke kgona go netefatsa gore nnake yo mmotlana o itse dikgang tsotlhe tsa sekolo.

And I make sure little brother knows all the school news.


Mo phaposiborutelo ke dira ka natla mo go sengwe le sengwe.

In class I do my best in every way.


Ke dira dilo tse tsotlhe tse dintle letsatsi le letsatsi. Mme se segolo se ke se ratang thata, ke go tshameka le go tshameka!

I do all these good things every day. But the thing I like most, is to play and play!
