Eines Tages holt Mama viel Obst.
One day, mama got a lot of fruit.
Un día, mamá trajo mucha fruta.
„Wann können wir etwas Obst essen?“, fragen wir. „Wir essen das Obst heute Abend“, sagt Mama.
“When can we have some fruit?” we ask.
“We will have the fruit tonight,” says mama.
“¿Cuándo podemos comer fruta?” le preguntamos. “Esta noche comeremos fruta,” dice mamá.
Mein Bruder Rahim ist gierig. Er probiert das ganze Obst. Er isst sehr viel davon.
My brother Rahim is greedy. He tastes all the fruit. He eats a lot of it.
Mi hermano Rahim es glotón. Prueba toda la fruta. Come mucha.
„Guck was Rahim gemacht hat!“, ruft mein kleiner Bruder. „Rahim ist ungezogen und egoistisch“, sage ich.
“Look at what Rahim did!” shouts my little brother.
“Rahim is naughty and selfish,” I say.
“¡Mira lo que hizo Rahim!” grita mi hermano pequeño. “Rahim es travieso y egoísta,” le respondo.
Mama ist böse auf Rahim.
Mother is angry with Rahim.
Mamá se enoja con Rahim.
Wir sind auch böse auf Rahim. Aber Rahim tut es nicht leid.
We are also angry with Rahim. But Rahim is not sorry.
Nosotros también nos enojamos con Rahim. Pero Rahim no está arrepentido.
„Kriegt Rahim keine Strafe?“, fragt kleiner Bruder.
“Aren’t you going to punish Rahim?” asks little brother.
“¿No vas a castigar a Rahim?” pregunta mi hermano pequeño.
„Rahim, dir wird es bald leid tun“, warnt Mama.
“Rahim, soon you will be sorry,” warns mama.
“Rahim, pronto te arrepentirás,” le advierte mamá.
Rahim geht es bald schlecht.
Rahim starts to feel sick.
Rahim empieza a sentir náuseas.
„Mein Bauch tut so weh“, flüstert Rahim.
“My tummy is so sore,” whispers Rahim.
“Me duele mucho el estómago,” susurra Rahim.
Mama wusste, dass das passiert. Das Obst bestraft Rahim!
Mama knew this would happen. The fruit is punishing Rahim!
Mamá sabía que esto pasaría. ¡La fruta está castigando a Rahim!
Später entschuldigt sich Rahim bei uns. „Ich werde nie wieder so gierig sein“, verspricht er. Und wir alle glauben ihm.
Later, Rahim says sorry to us. “I will never be so greedy again,” he promises.
And we all believe him.
Más tarde, Rahim nos pide disculpas. “No volveré a ser tan glotón,” promete. Y todos aceptamos su promesa.
