Lubbuun too waan bayee yaddi.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

Akkoyyye tiya yeroo isshen seenaa durii nati himtu bayeen gamaada.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

Yeroon hiriyyotaa kiya wajiin taphadhu ijolummatu nattidhgahama.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

Yeroo Abbon koo maalaqqa ofharkaa hinqabu naan jedhu bayyeen gadda.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

Yeroo harmeen ko nahammattu jaallatamu koottu nati dhagaham.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.
