안디스와는 남자아이들이 축구를 하는 것을 보아요. 그녀는 같이 뛰고 싶어요. 그녀는 같이 연습 할 수 있는지 코치에게 물었어요.

Andiswa watched the boys play soccer. She wished that she could join them. She asked the coach if she can practise with them.

Andiswa miraba a los chicos jugar fútbol. Ella deseaba ser parte del equipo. Le preguntó al entrenador si podía entrenar con ellos.


코치는 허리 위에 손을 올렸어요. “이 학교에선, 남자아이들만 축구를 할 수 있어,” 그가 말했어요.

The coach put his hands on his hips. “At this school, only boys are allowed to play soccer,” he said.

El entrenador puso sus manos en la cintura y le respondió: “En esta escuela, sólo los chicos pueden jugar al fútbol”.


남자아이들은 그녀에게 가서 네트볼을 하라고 말했어요. 네트볼은 여자아이들을 위한 것이고 축구는 남자아이들을 위한 것이라고 말했어요. 안디스와는 속상했어요.

The boys told her to go play netball. They said that netball is for girls and soccer is for boys. Andiswa was upset.

Los chicos le dijeron que fuera a jugar nétbol. Le dijeron que el nétbol es para chicas y el fútbol para chicos. Andiswa se enojó.


그 다음 날, 학교에선 큰 축구 경기가 열렸어요. 코치는 가장 뛰어난 선수들이 아파서 뛸 수 없는 것 때문에 걱정했어요.

The next day, the school had a big soccer match. The coach was worried because his best player was sick and could not play.

Al día siguiente, la escuela tenía un partido de fútbol muy importante. El entrenador estaba preocupado porque su mejor jugador se enfermó y no podía jugar.


안디스와는 코치에게 달려가서 뛰게 해달라고 졸랐어요. 코치는 어떻게 해야 할 지 몰랐어요. 그리곤 안디스와가 같이 뛸 수 있다고 결정했어요.

Andiswa ran to the coach and begged him to let her to play. The coach was not sure what to do. Then he decided that Andiswa could join the team.

Andiswa corrió hacia el entrenador y le suplicó que la dejara jugar. El entrenador no estaba seguro de qué hacer. Pero decidió que Andiswa se uniera al equipo.


경기는 힘들었어요. 누구도 하프타임 까지 점수를 내지 못했어요.

The game was tough. Nobody had scored a goal by half time.

Fue un juego difícil. Para el medio tiempo, ninguno de los equipos había anotado un gol.


후반전에 한 남자아이가 안디스와에게 패스했어요. 그녀는 골대를 향해 아주 빨리 움직였어요. 강하게 공을 차고 점수를 따냈어요.

During the second half of the match one of the boys passed the ball to Andiswa. She moved very fast towards the goal post. She kicked the ball hard and scored a goal.

Durante la segunda mitad del partido, uno de los chicos le dio un pase a Andiswa. Ella corrió rápidamente hacia la portería contraria. Pateó el balón con fuerza y anotó un gol.


관중은 기뻐서 난리였어요. 그날부터, 여자아이들도 학교에서 축구를 할 수 있게 되었어요.

The crowd went wild with joy. Since that day, girls were also allowed to play soccer at the school.

El público gritaba de alegría. Desde ese día, a las chicas se les permitió jugar fútbol en la escuela.
