丁吉和奶奶住在一起。
丁吉以前常常和奶奶一起照看奶牛。
有一天，村里来了士兵。
他们把奶牛带走了。
丁吉和奶奶逃离了村庄，躲了起来。
他们白天躲在树丛里。
士兵们又回来了。
奶奶把丁吉藏在树叶底下。
有个士兵踩到了丁吉藏身的树叶，但是丁吉没有吱声。
丁吉和奶奶直到安全了才走出来。
他们悄悄地爬回家。
