Ktìbet ħrùf kbàr illi nnejjim naqràhum b'shùle tiġjibni.
Mèkelt il-ɍallèt il-mitnewġìn tiġjibni.
Ir-rqàd fi farc kbir yiġjibni.
Smèġ ummi kìf taħki ħkèyèt muċìra yiġjibni.
Aah! Il-hàjèt hèđùme il-kull yiġjbùni.
