I peel the potatoes.

At maghiwa ng repolyo.

I chop a cabbage.

Madali magkudkod ng karot.

I grate the carrots.

At maghugas ng patani.

I wash the beans.

Ako pa rin naghihiwa ng butternut.

I cut the butternut.

At nagpuputol-putol ng spinach.

I chop the spinach.

Pero pagdating sa sibuyas, nagpapatulong na ako kay nanay.

My mom chops the onions.

Kasi naluluha talaga ako sa sibuyas.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
