Mano broliukas miega labai ilgai. Aš atsibundu anksti, nes esu šaunuolė!

My little brother sleeps very late. I wake early, because I am great!

Tai aš įleidžiu saulę.

I am the one who lets in the sun.

“Tu mano ryto žvaigždė”, sako mama.

“You’re my morning star,” says Ma.

Aš prausiuosi pati, man nereikia pagalbos.

I wash myself, I don’t need any help.

Aš nebijau šalto vandens ir mėlyno negardžiai kvepiančio muilo.

I can cope with cold water and blue smelly soap.

Mama primena, “Nepamiršk dantų”. Aš atsakau, “Niekada, tik ne aš!”

Ma reminds, “Don’t forget teeth.” I reply, “Never, not me!”

Nusipraususi aš pasisveikinu su seneliu bei teta ir palinkiu jiems geros dienos.

After washing, I greet Grandpa and Auntie, and wish them a good day.

Tada apsirengiu, “Aš jau didelė, mama”, sakau.

Then I dress myself, “I’m big now Ma,” I say.

Aš moku užsisagstyti sagas ir užsirišti batus.

I can close my buttons and buckle my shoes.

Ir pasirūpinu, kad mano broliukas žinotų visas mokyklos naujienas.

And I make sure little brother knows all the school news.

Klasėje esu visur geriausia.

In class I do my best in every way.

Visus šiuos gerus dalykus darau kasdien, tačiau labiausiai man patinka žaisti ir žaisti!

I do all these good things every day. But the thing I like most, is to play and play!
