Mpulira ebintu bingi mu mwoyo gwange.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

Mpulira eisanhu nga dhaadha ali kutugerera engero.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

Mpulira okukyamukirira nga ndi kuzaanha ni mukwano gwange.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

Mpulira bubi nga lata wange ankobye ati, “nzira sente.”

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

Mpulira okugonzebwa nga maama wange angwire mu kifuba.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.
