Ma asi ni e`yo karakara etumu.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.


Ma idi ka amani o`duko olu ondresi ayiko ni ma fu tu.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.


Aka avi ma agiyi be ma e`da mani azaza ru.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.


Ma ati ka `yo `i vu sende yo, ma eri onzi.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.
