Nzuukuka ku makya ne nkuma omuliro.

I wake up and make fire.

Ninaamka na kuwasha moto.

Nfumba amazzi.

I boil some water.

Ninachemsha maji.

Njasa enku.

I chop the firewood.

Ninakata kuni.

Nfumba emmere.

I stir the pot.

Ninakoroga uji kwenye chungu.

Njera mu nnyumba.

I sweep the floor.

Ninafagia sakafu.

Njoza ebintu.

I wash the dishes.
