Omuthima waghe akowa binene.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

Ngayowandeke omughulhu mukaka akathuyira esyangano omwigholhogholho.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

Ng’ayisyetha omughulhu ngasatha namunyikyaghe.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

Ngayowa nabi omughulhu thatha akabugha athi syawithe esyambulho.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

Ngowa olwanzo omughulhu mama akanyibumbathira.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.
