Ninaamka na kuwasha moto.

I wake up and make fire.

Nalesebya minzé.

Ninachemsha maji.

I boil some water.

Ninakata kuni.

I chop the firewood.

Nalesegaja ng’homba mnúngu.

Ninakoroga uji kwenye chungu.

I stir the pot.
