Umutima wandi ulomfwa ifintu ifingi.

Moyo wangu unahisi vitu vingi.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Ndatemwa nga bamaama baleetushimikila utushimi ubushiku.

Najisikia furaha bibi yangu akitusimulia hadithi jioni.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Ndomfwa ukusaamwa nga ndeyangala no munandi.

Najisikia kufanya mzaha ninapocheza na rafiki zangu.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Nshumfwa bwino bataata nga batiila tabakwete indalama.

Najisikia vibaya baba yangu anaposema hana pesa.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Ndomfwa ukutemwikwa nga bamaayo bankumbatila.

Najihisi kupendwa na mama yangu anaponikumbatia.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.
