أَنَا أَسْتَيْقُظُ وَأُشْعِلُ النَارَ.

I wake up and make fire.

أَنَا أَغْلِي القَلِيلَ مِنَ المَاءِ.

I boil some water.

أَنَا أُقَطِّعُ حَطَبَ الأَشْجَارِ.

I chop the firewood.

أَنَا أُحَرِّكُ الوِعَاءَ.

I stir the pot.

أَنَا أُنَظِّفُ الأرْضَ.

I sweep the floor.

أَنَا أَغْسِلُ الصُّحُونَ.

I wash the dishes.

لِمَاذَا أَعْمَلُ أَنَا بِجِدٍّ… …بَيْنَما أَخِي مَشْغُولٌ بِاللَّعبِ؟

Why do I work so hard… … when my brother is busy playing?
