أَنَا أُقَشِّرُ البَطَاطَا.

I peel the potatoes.

أَنَا أَقَطَعُ المَلْفُوفَ.

I chop a cabbage.

أَنَا أَبْشُرُ الجَزَرَ.

I grate the carrots.

أَنَا أَغْسِلُ الفَاصُولِيَا.

I wash the beans.

أَنَا أقْطَعُ الجَوْزَ.

I cut the butternut.

أَنَا أَفْرُمُ السَّبَانِخَ.

I chop the spinach.

أُمِّي تَفْرُمُ البَصَلَ.

My mom chops the onions.

البَصَلُ يَجْعَلُنِي أَبْكِي عِنْدَمَا يَبْشُرُونَهُ.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
