My little brother sleeps
very late.
I wake early, because I
am great!
အဲရ ဒှ်မၞိဟ် မပံက်ဗတင် ကဵုလျးတ္ၚဲ လုပ်သ္ၚိ။
I am the one who lets in
the sun.
“ဗှ်ေဂှ် ဒှ် သၞံင်စမ္ပာအဲရ။” ဟီု မိညးတေအ်။
“You’re my morning
star,” says Ma.
အဲ ဟုံဍာ်ကေတ်တ်၊ အဲ ဟွံဒးကေတ် အရီုအဗင် မၞိဟ်မွဲမွဲ။
I wash myself, I don’t
need any help.
အဲ ဟုံဍာ် ဍာ်ဂံက်က် ကဵု သာပ်ပျာသၚေက် မောဝ်မောဝ်။
I can cope with cold
water and blue smelly
soap.
မိ ကဵု သတိ၊ “လ္ပဝိုတ်စ ပေါတ်ၚေက်ဏး။” အဲသှ် “အဲ ဆလအ် ဟွံဝိုတ်။”
Ma reminds, “Don’t
forget teeth.”
I reply, “Never, not
me!”
အဲ ဟုံဍာ်တုဲ၊ အဲဟီု မ္ၚဵုနူဂယး ကဵု အပါနော် ကဵု ဣစဳ။
After washing, I greet
Grandpa and Auntie,
and wish them a good
day.
တုဲတှ်ေ အဲလတက်ပလောအ်ကေတ်တ်၊ “အဲ ကောန်ၚာ် ဟွံသေင်ရ၊ မိ။” အဲ ဟီု။
Then I dress myself,
“I’m big now Ma,” I say.
အဲ စုတ် ကမောန်ပလောအ်၊ ဆအ် ဒၞပ်။
I can close my buttons
and buckle my shoes.
တုဲပၠန် ညံင်ဒေအ်အဲ ဂွံတီ ဟွံဂွံဝိုတ် ပရိုင်ပ္ဍဲဘာ သီုဖအိုတ်ဂှ်လေဝ် အဲလဴဟီုကဵုဍေဟ်။
And I make sure little
brother knows all the
school news.
ပ္ဍဲဘာပၠန်ရ အဲဂစာန်ကၠောန်ခိုဟ်ဟ် ဇၟာပ်ပ်အရာ။
In class I do my best in
every way.
ကမၠောန်ခိုဟ်ဟ်တအ်ဏအ် အဲကၠောန်ဒၟံင် ရိုဟ်ရိုဟ် တ္ၚဲ။ ဆဂး အရာအဲ မဒးစိုတ်အိုတ်ဂှ် ဝေင် ရ။
I do all these good
things every day.
But the thing I like
most, is to play and
play!
