ਮੈਂ ਆਲੂ ਛਿੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I peel the potatoes.

ਮੈਂ ਗੋਭੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਤਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I chop a cabbage.

ਮੈਂ ਗਾਜਰਾਂ ਕਦੂਕਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I grate the carrots.

ਮੈਂ ਬੀਨ ਧੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I wash the beans.

ਮੈਂ ਕੱਦੂ ਕੱਟ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I cut the butternut.

ਮੈਂ ਪਾਲਕ ਕੁਤਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

I chop the spinach.

ਮੇਰੀ ਮੰਮੀ ਪਿਆਜ਼ ਕੁਤਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

My mom chops the onions.

ਪਿਆਜ਼ ਕੁਤਰਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਆਉਦਾ ਹੈ।

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
