Gà và Cuốn chiếu là bạn của nhau. Nhưng lúc nào họ cũng cạnh tranh với nhau. Một ngày nọ, họ quyết định chơi đá bóng để xem ai đá hay hơn.
Chicken and Millipede were friends. But they were always competing with each other. One day they decided to play football to see who the best player was.
Pollo y Milpiés eran amigos. Pero siempre competían. Un día, decidieron jugar fútbol para ver quién jugaba mejor.
Họ tới sân bóng đá và bắt đầu trận đấu. Gà nhanh, nhưng Cuốn chiếu nhanh hơn. Gà đá xa, nhưng Cuốn chiếu đá xa hơn. Gà bắt đầu bực bội.
They went to the football field and started their game. Chicken was fast, but Millipede was faster. Chicken kicked far, but Millipede kicked further. Chicken started to feel grumpy.

Chicken was furious that she lost. She was a very bad loser. Millipede started laughing because his friend was making such a fuss.
El Pollo estaba furioso por haber perdido. Era un mal perdedor. Milpiés se empezó a reír porque su amigo estaba armando un escándalo.
Gà tức giận quá đến nổi bạn ấy há to mỏ ra và nuốt chửng Cuốn chiếu.
Chicken was so angry that she opened her beak wide and swallowed the millipede.
El Pollo estaba tan enfadado que con su pico abierto se tragó a Milpiés.
Gà đang đi về nhà thì gặp Cuốn chiếu mẹ. Cuốn chiếu mẹ hỏi: “Cháu có thấy con của bác đâu không?” Gà không nói gì cả. Cuốn chiếu mẹ rất lo lắng.
As Chicken was walking home, she met Mother Millipede. Mother Millipede asked, “Have you seen my child?” Chicken didn’t say anything.
Mother Millipede was worried.
Camino a casa, el Pollo se encontró con la Mamá Milpiés. Y ella le preguntó, “¿Has visto a mi hijo?” El Pollo no le respondió nada y Mamá Milpiés se empezó a preocupar.
Sau đó, Cuốn chiếu mẹ nghe một giọng nói khẽ. Giọng nói ấy kêu rằng: “Mẹ ơi, cứu con với!” Cuốn chiếu mẹ nhìn quanh và nghe cẩn thận. Giọng nói ấy xuất phát từ bên trong Gà.
Then Mother Millipede heard a tiny voice. “Help me mom!” cried the voice. Mother Millipede looked around and listened carefully. The voice came from inside the chicken.
Luego, Mamá Milpiés escuchó una pequeña vocecita. “¡Ayúdame, mamá!” gritaba la vocecita. Mamá Milpiés miró para todos lados tratando de escuchar atentamente. La vocecita venía del interior del Pollo.
Mẹ Cuốn chiếu kêu lên: “Con hãy dùng sức mạnh đặc biệt của con đi!” Cuốn chiếu có thể tạo nên mùi hôi và vị khó chịu. Gà bắt đầu thấy muốn bệnh.
Mother Millipede shouted, “Use your special power my child!” Millipedes can make a bad smell and a terrible taste. Chicken began to feel ill.
Mamá Milpiés gritó, “¡Usa tus poderes especiales, hijo mío!” Los Milpiés pueden producir un olor muy desagradable con un sabor terrible. El Pollo comenzó a sentirse enfermo.
Gà ợ lên. Sau đó, Gà nuốt vào và nhổ ra. Sau đó, Gà hắt xì và ho mãi. Cuốn chiếu thật là ghê tởm!
Chicken burped. Then she swallowed and spat. Then she sneezed and coughed. And coughed. The millipede was disgusting!

Gà ho đến khi ho cả Cuốn chiếu trong bụng mình ra. Cuốn chiếu mẹ và con bò lên cây để trốn.
Chicken coughed until she coughed out the millipede that was in her stomach. Mother Millipede and her child crawled up a tree to hide.
El Pollo tosió y tosió hasta que Milpiés logró salir de su estómago. Mamá Milpiés y su hijo treparon un árbol muy rápidamente para esconderse del Pollo.
Từ đó trở đi, Gà và Cuốn chiếu là kẻ thù của nhau.
From that time, chickens and millipedes were enemies.
Desde ese instante, los pollos y los milpiés fueron enemigos.
