آن دختر کوچک بود که اول آن شکل مرموز را از فاصله ی دور دید.
It was a little girl who first saw the mysterious shape in the distance.
Una niña pequeña fue la primera en ver una figura misteriosa a lo lejos.
وقتی که شکل نزدیکتر شد، او دید که آن یک زن باردار سنگین است.
As the shape moved closer, she saw that it was a heavily pregnant woman.
Mientras la figura se acercaba, la niña se dio cuenta que era una mujer embarazada a punto de dar a luz.
با کمرویی اما شجاعانه، دختر کوچک به آن زن نزدیک شد. خانواده ی آن دختر کوچک تصمیم گرفتند که “ما باید او را پیش خودمان نگه داریم. ما از او وکودکش مراقبت خواهیم کرد.”
Shy but brave, the little girl moved nearer to the woman.
“We must keep her with us,” the little girl’s people decided. “We’ll keep her and her child safe.”
Tímida pero valientemente, la pequeña niña se acercó a la mujer. “Tenemos que cuidar de ella,” decidieron los familiares de la niña pequeña. “Ella y su bebé estarán a salvo con nosotros”.
بچه داشت به دنیا می‌آمد. “فشار بده!” “پتو بیاورید!” “آب!” “فشااااااااار بده! ”
The child was soon on its way.
“Push!”
“Bring blankets!”
“Water!”
“Puuuuussssshhh!!!”
Al poco tiempo, el bebé empezó a nacer. “¡Puja!” “¡Traigan mantas!” “¡Agua!” “¡¡¡Puuuuujjjjjaaa!!!”
ولی وقتی آنها بچه را دیدند، همگی از تعجب به عقب پریدند. “یک خر!؟”
But when they saw the baby, everyone jumped back in shock.
“A donkey?!”
Pero cuando vieron al recién nacido, todos se llevaron una gran sorpresa. “¡¿Un burro?!”
همگی شروع به بحث کردند. عده ای گفتند: “ما قرار گذاشته بودیم که از مادر و نوزاد او مراقبت کنیم، و سر قولمان خواهیم ماند”. اما دیگران گفتند که “اینها برایمان بدشانسی می‌آورند! ”
Everyone began to argue.
“We said we would keep mother and child safe, and that’s what we’ll do,” said some.
“But they will bring us bad luck!” said others.
Todos empezaron a discutir. “Prometimos que cuidaríamos de la madre y su hijo, y eso es lo que haremos,” decían algunos. “¡Pero ellos nos van a traer mala suerte!” decían otros.
بنابراین آن زن دوباره خودش را تنها یافت. او پیش خودش فکر کرد که با این بچه ی عجیب و غریب چه می‌تواند بکند. او فکر کرد که با خودش چه کند.
And so the woman found herself alone again.
She wondered what to do with this awkward child.
She wondered what to do with herself.
Y así fue como la madre volvió a quedar sola otra vez. Se preguntaba qué hacer con este extraño bebé. Se preguntaba qué hacer consigo misma.
اما در آخر او مجبور شد بپذیرد که آن خر، بچه ی اوست و او مادرش است.
But finally she had to accept that he was her child and she was his mother.
Pero finalmente tuvo que aceptar que ese era su bebé y que ella era su madre.
حالا اگر بچه همانقدر کوچک می‌ماند همه چیز می‌توانست متفاوت باشد. اما آن کره خر بزرگ و بزرگتر شد تا اینکه دیگر نمی‌توانست روی کمر مادرش جا بگیرد. و با اینکه خیلی تلاش می‌کرد نمی‌توانست مانند یک انسان عمل کند. مادرش اغلب خسته و درمانده بود. بعضی وقت ها او را مجبور می‌کرد که کارهایی انجام دهد که مخصوص حیوانات است.
Now, if the child had stayed that same, small size, everything might have been different. But the donkey child grew and grew until he could no longer fit on his mother’s back.
And no matter how hard he tried, he could not behave like a human being. His mother was often tired and frustrated. Sometimes she made him do work meant for animals.
Si el niño se hubiera quedado del mismo tamaño, todo habría sido diferente. Pero el niño burro creció y creció hasta que su madre no pudo cargarlo más en su espalda. Y no importaba cuánto lo intentase, el niño burro no lograba comportarse como un niño humano. Su madre se la pasaba cansada y frustrada. A veces ella le ordenaba hacer trabajo de animales.
احساس سردرگمی و عصبانیت در درون خر به وجود آمد. او نه می‌توانست این کار را انجام بدهد و نه آن کار را. او نه می‌توانست مانند انسان باشد و نه مانند حیوان. او به حدی عصبانی شد که یک روز مادرش را لگد زد و به زمین انداخت.
Confusion and anger built up inside Donkey. He couldn’t do this and he couldn’t do that. He couldn’t be like this and he couldn’t be like that.
He became so angry that, one day, he kicked his mother to the ground.
Burro sentía cada vez más confusión y rabia. Que no podía hacer esto, que no podía hacer aquello. Que él no podía ser esto ni aquello. Un día se puso tan furioso que botó a su madre al suelo de una patada.
خرشدیدا احساس پشیمانی کرد. او شروع به فرار کرد و تا جایی که می‌توانست سریعا دور شد.
Donkey was filled with shame. He started to run away as far and fast as he could.
Burro se sintió lleno de vergüenza. Corrió tan rápido y lejos como pudo.
زمانی که دویدن را متوقف کرد، شب شده بود، و خر گم شده بود. “عرعر؟” در تاریکی به آرامی زمزمه می‌کرد. “عرعر؟” صدای عرعرش انعکاس داشت. او تنها بود. در یک گودی سفت دور خودش پیچید، او به یک خواب عمیق و آزار دهنده رفت.
By the time he stopped running, it was night, and Donkey was lost.
“Hee haw?” he whispered to the darkness.
“Hee Haw?” it echoed back. He was alone.
Curling himself into a tight ball, he fell into a deep and troubled sleep.
Cuando dejó de correr, ya era de noche y Burro estaba perdido. “¿Hiaaa?” susurró en la oscuridad. “¿Hiaaa?” le respondió su eco. Estaba solo. Se acurrucó y cayó rendido en un sueño profundo e intranquilo.
زمانی که خر بیدار شد دید که یک مرد عجیب و غریب مسن به او خیره شده است. او در چشمان او نگاه کرد و ذره ای احساس امیدواری کرد.
Donkey woke up to find a strange old man staring down at him. He looked into the old man’s eyes and started to feel a twinkle of hope.
Cuando Burro despertó, había un extraño anciano mirándolo. Burro le miró a los ojos y comenzó a sentir una chispa de esperanza.
خر رفت که با آن مرد مسن زندگی کند. او به خر یاد داد که چگونه به بقای زندگی خود ادامه دهد. خر به حرف های او گوش داد و از او یاد گرفت و همین طور مرد مسن. آنها به یکدیگر کمک می‌کردند و با هم می‌خندیدند.
Donkey went to stay with the old man, who taught him many different ways to survive.
Donkey listened and learned, and so did the old man. They helped each other, and they laughed together.
Burro se fue a vivir con el anciano, quien le enseñó muchas formas diferentes de sobrevivir. Burro escuchaba y aprendía, y lo mismo hacía el anciano. Se ayudaban y reían juntos.
یک روز صبح، مرد مسن از خر خواست که او را به بالای کوه ببرد.
One morning, the old man asked Donkey to carry him to the top of a mountain.
Una mañana, el anciano le pidió a Burro que lo llevara hasta la cima de una montaña.
بر فراز قله ی کوه در میان ابرها آنها به خواب رفتند. خر خواب دید که مادرش مریض است واو را صدا می‌زند. ووقتی که او بیدار شد…
High up amongst the clouds they fell asleep.
Donkey dreamed that his mother was sick and calling to him.
And when he woke up…
Se quedaron dormidos más arriba de las nubes. Burro soñó que su madre estaba enferma y que lo llamaba. Y cuando despertó…
ابرها به همراه دوستش، آن مرد مسن ناپدید شده بودند.
… the clouds had disappeared along with his friend, the old man.
…las nubes habían desaparecido junto con su amigo, el anciano.
خر نهایتا متوجه شد که باید چه کاری انجام دهد.
Donkey finally knew what to do.
Burro finalmente se dio cuenta de lo que tenía que hacer.
خر مادرش را پیدا کرد، تنها و در ماتم از دست دادن فرزندش. آنها به مدت طولانی به هم خیره شدند. وسپس خیلی محکم همدیگر را در آغوش گرفتند.
Donkey found his mother, alone and mourning her lost child. They stared at each other for a long time.
And then hugged each other very hard.
Burro encontró a su madre, sola y llorando por su hijo perdido. Se quedaron mirándose a los ojos por largo tiempo. Luego se abrazaron muy apretadamente.
کره خر و مادرش با هم بزرگ شدند و راه های زیادی را برای کنار هم زندگی کردن پیدا کردند. کم کم، همه ی اطرافیانشان، دیگر خانواده ها در آنجا شروع به زندگی کردند.
The donkey child and his mother have grown together and found many ways of living side by side.
Slowly, all around them, other families have started to settle.
El hijo burro y su madre ya llevan tiempo creciendo juntos y han aprendido a convivir. Lentamente, otras familias se han instalado a vivir cerca de ellos.
