أَنَا أُقَشِّرُ البَطَاطَا.

I peel the potatoes.

Pelo las papas.


أَنَا أَقَطَعُ المَلْفُوفَ.

I chop a cabbage.

Corto el repollo.


أَنَا أَبْشُرُ الجَزَرَ.

I grate the carrots.

Rallo las zanahorias.


أَنَا أَغْسِلُ الفَاصُولِيَا.

I wash the beans.

Lavo los frijoles.


أَنَا أقْطَعُ الجَوْزَ.

I cut the butternut.

Corto la calabaza.


أَنَا أَفْرُمُ السَّبَانِخَ.

I chop the spinach.

Pico la espinaca.


أُمِّي تَفْرُمُ البَصَلَ.

My mom chops the onions.

Mi mamá trocea las cebollas.


البَصَلُ يَجْعَلُنِي أَبْكِي عِنْدَمَا يَبْشُرُونَهُ.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.

Las cebollas me hacen llorar cuando las cortan.
