मैं आलू छीलता हूँ।

I peel the potatoes.

मैं बंदगोभी काटता हूँ।

I chop a cabbage.

मैं गाजर कद्दूकस करता हूँ।

I grate the carrots.

मैं फलियाँ धोता हूँ।

I wash the beans.

मैं कद्दू काटता हूँ।

I cut the butternut.

मैं पालक काटता हूँ।

I chop the spinach.

मेरी माँ प्याज़ काटती हैं।

My mom chops the onions.

प्याज़ काटने से मेरी आँखों में आँसू आ जाते हैं।

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
